I know it's tragic and sad....but I really love La Traviata ! I really enjoyed this video about the costumes!
Make Britain Roman Again
Such a beautiful job! Not expected ending...wow!!
The stockings are really nice
3:15 uuuh, seems familiar.
Great movie, Girl with the pearl earring (2003)
Lol 😂😂😂
I always admire how women could keep clothes tied with a ribbon *on*. I feel like no matter what I do, if I have to tie a ribbon on my person, it's coming loose within a half hour. Also, I need a button hook for my dance heels 😮
women takes hijeb
Victoria was actually also full German😂 from her father’s side, the Hanoverians, were Germans! They also married Germans! So their family tree was full of Germans actually. Her mother was also full german
Is cold in Britain i hope she didnt stink do to lack of deodorant.
I like this because the clothing represents the 17th century esthetic. No cut bangs on the women. The maid in her working clothes.
All those sapphires! ...those are my favorite 😂
😂 I love this.
hello! my chronically online friend "evelina" thinks this hair was only for the evening, please elaborate on how shes wrong as fuck and the hair is perfect for any time of day! drag her and make sure to poke fun at her chronical ness
I love this moment.
Thank you for this charming video. Was wearing "morning dress" for breakfast still appropriate with guests? Or was it more for the casual day-to-day, not when others out of family were present?
The nurses aboard the HMHS Britannic must have dressed like this.
So cool video
02:50 who did the buttons up?
how would arm pit sweat have been dealt with so as not to ruin these beautiful clothes, especially on hot summer days? with so many layers of clothing it must have felt extremely warm. because most of us use deodorant today we don't sweat but i don't think any homemade cornstarch or talc type concoction would have worked well.
I love this channel doing famous portraits as historical fashion videos. So wonderful.
I will say one thing, this shit's comfy af too. Not the hose, but the rest is loose and cozy!
Royal family today are German ..
Всегда было интереснее смотреть процесс в обратном порядке. Желательно под музыку.
"Good morning madam, you're looking full and robust today..."
This is a truly fantastic channel for history & fashion <3
the girl was a servant not wealthy the earing was her employers
English women were more beautiful back then than today😮
History always History.! Nice.
Wonderful and honourable..
My mum was also in the land army. She never really spoke much about it but at her funeral it was mentioned and a beautiful picture with her uniform 😢
Well our clothes will be found intact as the man made materials will not decompose… makes you think, we need to go back to local natural textiles
"It didn't matter what side they fought for. Each and every one of the young men in the Great War was hopelessly, desperately, heartbreakingly vulnerable." Thank you for saying this. I don't think it's said often enough. The First World War was an utter travesty.
I disagree. Anglo-saxons weren't sophisticated. Romans were. Not germanic tribes. Cool videos though. I love ancient clothings. They should be worn again.
Is it just me or dies the house look cozy
So who dressed the maid
The way women dressed in the 14th century is similar to how Muslim women dress today. I thought they were Muslim women because they dressed so nicely. Women are like precious gold and diamonds and look extremely pretty when they keep themselves modest. Men can be tempted when they see women exposing their beautiful bodies or lovely hair. And some men can control their temptation easily and some some can not.
I'm exhausted lol
Lovely as it all is to look at…Lapis lazuli stone is toxic when it gets wet or when it is topically applied or breathed into the lungs in powdered form… AND a face cream containing lead, too!? Yikes!
Plough? Plow?
She looks like a goddess
I just watch the complete series “ Tell them of us”. All the episodes are on uTube. I am an avid knitter like these ladies and I watched the series just to see the garments come to life. The story is a good one, well worth watching
Why itu looks like Arab
All that clothes must have been miserable on hot days in tbe summer
How did these women not overheat 😓
Ikr I feel hot weaeing a t shirt and shorts I couldn’t imagine all those layers 😅
Imagine having to use the outhouse...cause indoor plumbing obviously was not available.
WONDERFUL
